NCL is one of the National Centre of Artificial Intelligence laboratories located at NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, established in 2019.
Its core areas of excellence are IoT and embedded systems, Data acquisition, automation, decision support system, AI/ML, analytics and visualization.
Its another niche in research and innovation is neurofeedback, behaviour change, mental well being and cognitive assessments.
With a strong team of 35+ engineers and scientists, the lab has won research and development funding of over Rs. 200 million to date from reputed national and international agencies including GCRF UK and World Bank. Our works in last couple of years have also published in over a dozen top tier Journals
Additionally, the lab's cutting edge strength lies in its ability to provide technological ability to industries. So far, NCL has provided innovative solutions to automotive, energy, health, food, space, education and renewable sectors on highly competitive commercial models.
